Read the Procedure for PEC Admission 2019

Punjab Engineering College or PEC University of Technology is going to conduct PEC Admission 2019 in the month of May 2019. It provides admission into the University to study UG courses in engineering. The Admission is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the JEE Main 2019. Candidates have to do an online registration to take part in the Admission Process. The conducting authority will prepare a Merit List once they receive the Application Form from all the candidates. The candidates whose name will appear on the Merit List would be allowed to sit for the Counselling Process. The Merit List would be prepared on the basis of the JEE Main Result. There are going to be 3 rounds for Counselling. After the Counselling is completed the candidates are required to visit the University along with all the necessary documents. Important Dates

Application Form

• There are few Eligibility Criteria that you need to fulfil before applying for the Admission.

1. The candidates should have a qualifying certificate of class 12th board exam, certified by a recognized board. Physics and Mathematics should be the main subjects on the certificate. And Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology should be mentioned as elective subjects.

2. The candidates should have qualified in JEE Main 2019.

• The eligible candidates can apply for Admission by filling the Application Form. The Application Form will release on 18th May 2019 on the official website. First, you have to get registered to be able to fill the Application Form. In the registration process, you will have to create a unique username and password, using which you will get the Application Form. Fill out all the details on the Application Form and upload a recent passport size colour photograph, signature, mark sheet of class 10th and 12th exam, etc. You have to pay the Application Fee through a Demand Draft in favour of “PEC University of Engineering and Technology - Admissions” payable at “Chandigarh”.
• The last date to fill the PEC B.Tech Application Form 2019 is 8th June 2019. No one can apply once the last date is over

Merit List

• The Merit List would be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in JEE Main 2019. Therefore, the Merit List is going to be prepared once the JEE Main Result is announced. The Merit List will release on the official website.
• If your name is mentioned on the Merit List then you are selected for the further proceedings. The selected students are supposed to participate in the Counselling Process after the Merit List is declared.

Counselling Process

• The Counselling will start in the month of July 2019. There are going to be 3 rounds for Counselling. And the final round apart from the first 3 Rounds would be SPOT Round of Counselling.
• The documents that the candidates should have at the time of Counselling are:

1. Mark sheet of class 12th board exam

2. Admit Card and Scorecard of JEE Main 2019

3. Category certificate of SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
